Art Is Never Blind is a project designed during Sophia's final year of her degree studies, beginning with a collection of mixed media collages,Moving through Investigative sampling and culminating in a five piece fabric collection. Inspired by a frustration with being unable to experience artwork in Art Galleries with anything more than her eyes, Sophia considered who else in the community may be effected by this barrier. The artworks in this collection have been designed with the intent to provide equity for visually impaired people experiencing visual art.
